ENDA HUGHES – DIRECTOR

Enda trained as a Chef in Ireland before gaining a scholarship to train with the German National Culinary team, working in two-star Michelin hotels and other various hotel’s in Germany. He attended advanced training courses in the fabled L’Ecole Cordon Bleu Catering College in Paris, and various other advanced courses in his field, being one of the youngest Chef’s in Ireland to gain City and Guilds 7063 accreditation. Enda’s previous experience includes holding positions such as Executive Chef and Sous Chef in restaurants and five-star hotels throughout Ireland.

Before arriving in Australia, Enda worked in the Queen’s Grill restaurant onboard the Queen Elizabeth II passenger ship. Since arriving in Australia, Enda has also worked with Paul Merrony at Circular Quay, and at Le Kiosk Restaurant, Shelly Beach. During his time here in Australia, Enda owned and managed Forte Event Catering and achieved the distinction of winning the following industry awards:

In June 2006 Enda sold the business Forte Event Catering and now concentrates his energy and efforts on Ascent Patisserie and its associated brands. Enda can be found on any day working hands on in the business. Enda, understands your needs and is here to help you!
